The younger, teenaged sister of Lord Vek, Seran seems to have a close relationship with Ash. As a noble of the Vek bloodline, she seems darkly playful, eager to spar with students, and is extremely protective of her brother, but can be standoffish and aloof at times. She is a Plumbum Stipatores Candidate (a Plumbum Stipatores is a bodyguard for a member of a bloodline, usually for the ruling family).
