Founder:
Monoceri House was founded by Elysio Rhysor, a visionary and enigmatic mage known for his deep connection to the psychic arts. Born to a family of scholars, Elysio was always different—more curious, more eager to explore the unknown, and endlessly fascinated by the mind’s untapped potential. At a young age, he exhibited extraordinary psychic abilities, able to sense the emotions and thoughts of others, sometimes even predicting events before they occurred. He rapidly became friends with the other future founders once she met them in Greece.
Unlike many of his peers, Elysio was not content to study established magical doctrines. Instead, as he grew older, she sought out ancient and obscure knowledge, traveling across realms and meeting with mystical beings to learn from their wisdom. It was during one of these journeys that Elysio encountered a rare, ethereal unicorn, a creature whose psychic energy resonated so strongly with his own that it bonded with him. This meeting forever changed his path.
The unicorn, whom Elysio named Thaloria, became not just his companion but also his guide, helping him unlock the deepest layers of psychic magic. Thaloria’s presence led Elysio to realize that true mastery over the mind required not only discipline and strength but also an open heart, a playful curiosity, and a willingness to explore beyond the limits of conventional magic. Ge believed that the mind’s power could be used for both profound and joyous discoveries, and that to reach one’s full potential, one had to embrace the playful, experimental nature of exploration.
When Elysio founded Monoceri House, he imbued it with these core values: curiosity, eagerness to learn, and the playful spirit to challenge established boundaries. The house's symbol, the unicorn, represented both purity of intent and the rare, magical nature of psychic abilities. The house motto, "We are and always will be," was born from Elysio's deep belief in the eternal nature of the mind and spirit—unwavering and ever-evolving.
Under Elysio’s leadership, Monoceri House became known for its unconventional approaches to magic and its emphasis on the psychic arts. Students were encouraged to think freely, push the boundaries of their powers, and explore all facets of their potential. The house’s tie-dye colors reflected the diversity of thought and emotion within its ranks, symbolizing how each person’s unique experience could contribute to the greater whole. The element of psychic energy, central to the house’s philosophy, tied back to the foundation of its existence: the belief that true magic came not from rigid structures, but from an open mind and a willingness to explore.
Alumni of Monoceri House:
Aurelia Fendris
Aurelia Fendris, a renowned psychic artist, is one of Monoceri's most celebrated alumni. Her works are legendary for their ability to bring emotions and memories to life in vivid, tangible forms. Aurelia perfected the art of dreamweaving—creating intricate, living dreams that others could experience in vivid detail. She is a pioneer in using psychic energy to enhance the power of art, and her exhibitions have traveled across multiple realms, leaving a lasting impact on both the magical and non-magical worlds.
Cyrus Windwhisper
A former student of Monoceri House with a gift for emotional empathy, Cyrus Windwhisper became an influential diplomat in the magical world. Using his powerful psychic connection to read emotions and intentions, he brokered peace agreements between hostile factions that had previously been at war for centuries. His ability to sense the true motivations behind words and actions allowed him to navigate complex political situations, and his approach to diplomacy was grounded in his Monoceri values of curiosity, openness, and understanding.
Liora Starfall
Liora Starfall was an adventurous and inquisitive student whose psychic abilities led her to discover uncharted dimensions and realms. She became one of the foremost pioneers in rifcraft travel, using her psychic sensitivity to safely navigate through unknown worlds. Liora’s groundbreaking research in astral projection and dimensional theory reshaped the magical community’s understanding of reality and its many layers. Her journeys continue to inspire those from Monoceri House who are eager to explore the uncharted territories of both mind and space.
Torian Quill
Torian Quill was a master of “mindwriting,” a unique form of psychic literature that allowed readers to experience a story as if it were unfolding in their own minds. He wrote some of the most celebrated works of psychic fiction, blurring the lines between imagination and reality. His stories were more than just words on a page—they were vivid experiences, weaving together the minds of the readers with the characters and worlds he created. Torian’s works became essential texts in the study of psychic magic and narrative energy.
Astra Lucentis
Astra Lucentis was a visionary whose psychic abilities extended into the realm of architecture and design. She became famous for her work in creating psychic structures—buildings that were not only physically stable but also resonated with emotional and psychic harmony. Astra’s designs were intended to uplift the spirits of those within them, with each structure incorporating telekinetic elements that could adapt to the needs and desires of its inhabitants. Astra’s approach to leadership was equally as groundbreaking, blending psychic intuition with an ability to read the collective desires of a group, making her a natural leader in both the architectural and political worlds.
